Marcel de Vink
Marcel de Vink presented credentials as Netherlands Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to President Asif Ali Zardari on August 15, 2013.
Previously, he served as political counselor in Washington DC (2010-2013) and as private secretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. He also worked at the Netherlands permanent representation to the United Nations.
Marcel de Vink joined the Netherlands ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1995 and after having served at the ministry in the area of security policy he worked in South Africa and Brussels, at the permanent representation of the Netherlands to the EU (2000-2005).
Before joining the ministry of Foreign Affairs he served as a naval officer.
